I worked with children and residents in and around Rye Hill, cataloguing the local are through drawing. We engaged with families and young people on the estates through a series of fun, creative seasonal events supported by local agencies (Hat-Trick, Community First, Healthworks, Centre West, Play Newcastle).
The drawings were used to create wallpaper and 'directed doodling' books which were then handed out free to everyone. We also documented all participants by creating themselves as a 3D emoji, which formed part of the final exhibition at Vane gallery.
